Specifications
Every dimension, every cabin and what sits on each of the three decks — the numbers behind a 29-metre Buginese schooner built in 2020.
The short answer
Riley Phinisi measures 29 × 5 metres at 62 GT, carries up to 10 guests across 4 air-conditioned cabins, and cruises at 6 – 9 knots on a Mitsubishi 6D16.
She was launched in 2020 from a South Sulawesi yard, with an ulin (ironwood) hull and jati (teak) joinery — the two timbers Buginese shipwrights have used for centuries because they hold up to salt water and heat.
Below is the full record as it appears on the operator's vessel file, followed by the deck-by-deck layout and each cabin in turn.

Deck plan
Riley is laid out so that ten guests never queue for anything: cabins below and amidships, living space above, and the whole top deck left open.
Top deckThe full length of the boat left open: sun loungers, bean bags, and the jacuzzi facing the bow. This is where the sunsets happen.
Main deckIndoor and outdoor dining, the lounge, and the bar and karaoke corner — the social floor, a few steps from the Master Suite.
Lower deckThe remaining cabins sit amidships, where motion is smallest, with the swim platform and gear store at the waterline.
Accommodation
Every cabin is air-conditioned with premium bedding. Tell us who is travelling and we will assign rooms before you board.
PremiumThe most exclusive room on board: a double bed with space for an extra bed, a private balcony over the water and a full en-suite bathroom.
SuiteA generous cabin with a double bed, private bathroom and porthole views — the balance between privacy and value.
StandardA snug room for couples or solo travellers, with a soft double bed, private bathroom and the sea a porthole away.
Sea viewDouble bed, private bathroom and direct sea views, with more natural light than any other cabin below deck.
Inside
The Master Suite opens onto its own balcony; the Superior and Deluxe cabins look out through portholes and sea-view windows.

Engineering
Riley runs a Mitsubishi 6D16 for propulsion, and carries generators sized so the air conditioning, refrigeration and lighting hold through the night at anchor with the main engine shut down.
Five tons of fresh water covers showers and the galley across a four-day itinerary without rationing. Navigation is GPS with VHF radio for contact with Labuan Bajo harbour and the park rangers.
Specifications
Ten, across four cabins. The Master Suite takes a couple plus an extra bed; the Junior Suite, Superior and Deluxe cabins each take two.
A lower-deck cabin amidships. Motion is smallest closest to the waterline and near the centre of the boat, which is exactly where the Superior and Deluxe cabins sit.
Yes. The generators run through the night at anchor, so air conditioning holds in every cabin.
The Master Suite, Junior Suite, Superior and Deluxe cabins all have their own bathroom with hot water. A shared bathroom is also available on board for day use.
Signal inside Komodo National Park is patchy and depends on the mobile network rather than the boat. Bring a local SIM if you need to stay reachable, and expect stretches with no coverage at all.
Yes. Her regular ground is Komodo National Park out of Labuan Bajo, and she also runs the Lombok–Labuan Bajo corridor for guests who want the longer crossing. Ask the reservations desk about anything further afield.
